Whats your story?

I started climbing when a climbing gym opened in my hometown, Kitzbühel. After that, I was in a group with several other kids and we explored the climbing and mountaineering side of our beautiful tyrolean alps, always aiming higher and wanting to visit more interesting places. Some time afterwards my first competitions began, where I really liked the thrill of a crowd cheering and the preassure to perform at your best in a certain situation. Training became a very important part of my life, as well as driving across the country for comps and visiting friends. I got into the Austrian national team when I was about 15 years old, which brought me the incredible chance to visit even more further away destinations with the team, competing at an international level at the European youth cups and -championships. Now I study molecular medicine in Innsbruck, tyrol and train with my friends who all are professional climbers. I travelled a lot in the last few years, had an astronaut training in Orlando, Florida, got chosen as a sports ambassador for the youth Olympic games in Nanjing 2014, where we helped the IFSC to get our sport into the Olympic program, visited China two more times after that because of my amazing sponsor Kailas for a comp in Guangzhou and for the Yangshuo climbing festival last year. This year I got sent to Rio de Janeiro for the Olympic games, where we (again) showed the world what sport climbing really is. This year I also competed at my first world cup in Innsbruck, so lets see what the future brings.
