Very happy with Kailas 8000m boots! We wore them in Antarctica and on Aconcagua this year and have no complaints about their quality. Very lightweight, warm and as comfortable, as 8000m boots could be comfortable :) We plan to continue wearing them on other mountains in future!
Also should note that Kailas Service Support staff is super nice and helpful!
Thanks! Climb on!

n many years, I used several gears and all were great, including #Toread.. I was familiar with #Kailas gears since 2013, their quality and products are fantastic! During seven summits, we used their gears as brand ambassador, truly loved the products and after seven years, some of the sponsored gears are still in fine condition. This downsuit was sponsored me in 2014 and to I was lucky to use it on Everest this year, no doubt it was very warm and well fitted, this year addition was #Kailas Everest climbing shoes, in the past I used La Sportiva. This year I had the same brand, but was little big for my foot, Mingma Dorchi Sherpa told me about Kailas boots and encouraged me to try it! When I looked at the shoes, it had tag at the back "Sample" I tried 43 size and felt good, I ordered one for me, but was not sure if my feet would survive at 8848meters!! I start my practice at the glacier at khombu ice falls and then during my rotation, it was very comfortable light and warm, though my main concern was above 8000meters, the summit push was mostly during the night, below Balcony, I felt cold in my left heels, I kept kicking to keep it warm, below balcony, we had some very slow people ahead of us and we were moving very slow. Pemba told me if my foot is cold I replied little, after balcony I was warm and the entire climb to the summit, I didn't feel cold, despite it was extremely cold above Hillary steps, even we were stuck in traffic at the bottom of Hillary steps on the way down... No cold, No Problem!! I just loved this Shoes ..It's very light weighted and very comfortable shoes, even for the technical climbing! I have also ordered for my climbing guides on K2 and hope it's going to be a great addition in high altitude climbing , we would suggest our clients to use Kailas from Next year :) we can get you the products are much reasonable price ..I hope they keep the price reasonable :) ! Keep manufacturing class products

Super light and very warm! I used this boot on my last 8000m expedition and its really comfortable. Sometimes these kind of boot can hurt on the ankle and shin, but the soft padding of the inner boot prevents this. The boots seems very durable. The best is the lightness, without compromising the warmth, every gram less on my feet is a big plus!
